ABOUT
GRACELAND MANSION
Graceland is a mansion on a 13.8-acre estate in Memphis, Tennessee, that was home to Elvis Presley from 1957 until his death in 1977. It was opened to the public in 1982 and has since become one of the most-visited private homes in the United States, second only to the White House. The mansion was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2006.
The tour includes Elvis's living room, music room, his parents' bedroom, the dining room, kitchen, TV room, pool room, and the famous Jungle Room — which Elvis converted into a recording studio where he recorded his final albums. The upstairs area, which contained Elvis's private bedroom, remains closed to the public to this day.
